Spring 2023 With Consorzio Vini di Romagna

March and April will be marked by a series of important wine events that will see the Consorzio Vini di Romagna as the protagonist

--

Spring marks the beginning of wine fairs which the Consorzio Vini di Romagna will be attending this year as well. Aside from ProWein and Vinitaly, we will be participating to the World Tour coordinated by Gambero Rosso and will be organizing Master classes in Sweden.

GAMBERO ROSSO TRE BICCHIERI WORLD TOUR
8,10 and 18 March | Chicago, New York, Düsseldorf

The season begins with the participation of the Consorzio Vini di Romagna to Gambero Rosso’s most-awaited event overseas: the Tre Bicchieri World Tour, the best way to know Italian wines directly from its key people. The Consorzio will be present in Chicago (8 March); New York (10 March) and Düsseldorf (18 March, the day before the opening of ProWein). Alongside our designated corner located inside the stand of the Region, the Consorzio will organize some Master classes led by Giuseppe Carrus, who will present the territory and the wines of the Romagna denomination. At the end of the Master classes, a guided tasting for each wine type will be held featuring the labels of one of the attending producers.

PROWEIN
19-21 March | HALL 15, Stand C51

After the World Tour, the Consorzio will be participating to ProWein. Visitors can find us at HALL 15 | Stand C51. Just like every year, a delegation of producers will be attending to present the main types of Romagna Docg, Doc and Igt wines.

VINITALY
2-5 April | Pad. 1 Stand C7-C8-D14

Less than two weeks after ProWein, you will find the Consorzio at the Salone internazionale dei vini e dei distillati, better known as Vinitaly. The fair’s promising 55th edition will be filled with various events and initiatives: Daniele Cernilli will present the Consorzio’s new book entitled “Romagna, mosaic of life”, and there will also be 3 Master classes. The first one is a tasting of Albana Secco and Passito (3 April | 11:00am-12:00nn) led by Luca Matarazzo, (sommelier AIS, journalist, Master dell’Albana 2022). This will be followed by a vertical tasting of Romagna Sangiovese Superiore and Riserva presented by journalist, Asa Johansson (3 April | 3:00pm-4:00pm). Lastly, Asa Johansson will be back to lead the «Bianchi di Romagna» tasting which will feature Romagna Doc and Igt wines (4 April | 10:00am-11:00am).
