Agrivar

The Agrivar of Palazzo di Varignana is located in the hills of Varignana. The estate covers 650 hectares, of which 265 hectares are dedicated to olive growing and 57 hectares to vineyards. The hills of Varignana are home to native grape varieties that are remarkably resilient and historically rooted, dating back to ancient Roman times. The clay rocks and fine calcareous sands that make up the soil support fertility and allow for high biodiversity. For production, Agrivar relies on the most modern technologies in order to preserve the authenticity and organoleptic properties of its wines. Native grape varieties such as Sangiovese and Albana are cultivated alongside international varieties such as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
